The Maryland Environmental Service (MES) requested the dredging of Lake Linganore in Frederick County. The dredging project will restore water depths, improve water storage capacity for the City of Frederick and Frederick County, and improve access to the lake for homeowners in the area.
By providing our dredging and material management expertise, using an efficient and environmentally sensitive method, MES and our team of contractors can substantially reverse the effects of sediment build-up on the lake.
This multi-year project is expected to start in early 2019.
Dredged material will be removed from the lake and stockpiled for innovative reuse as future landfill cover.
